@watermelontrout I don't understand the Narcissism argument. You can't keep track of anything when you're hearing your own voice played back. You need distance from yourself to function. To be constantly surrounded by the self (the voice, image, etc.) halts our ability to operate, as you can see by her disorientation. I really don't get where Krauss came up with that.

Just watched this in history of video art and it is one of my favorites! Don't realize how narcissistic you are until you hear you're own voice played back! Tried it out once it's kinda trippy

no shes not on lsd. Theres quite a theory behind this. She finds herself in a world, filled entirely of her own voice. A rather narcissistic world, where she becomes obsessed with hearing her own voice. If you listen to the whole text it becomes more clear.
