@merriwthr26 Yes, the best distance runners in the world come from Kenya and Ethiopia, agree. Also, she ran smart and ran guts out at the end. Great finish, maybe one of the best marathon finishes. I don't agree that they wanted the "white" girl to win. I suggest you should ask yourself why you said that. What kind of impact do you want to make in the world and is this comment, doing that? Be the change you want to see in the world, yes?

Lol!!! They really wanted the white girl to win. The best distance runner in the world come from Kenya and Ethiopia and no matter how you people hate it, it's true. Deal with it. You can say it's devastating to have someone come from behind and beat you but it is tactics. When Lasse Viren did it in 72 it wasn't a big deal no was it!
