Cellphones now have FLIGHT MODE... It makes the phone unable to receive signals. Cameras are what? flash? screen? Read before giving tips.

thankyou prop47 for your comments!I hav'nt as yet had time to pusue an enquiry regarding whether or not passangers are permitted to use digicams on any flight as soon as i do i will post the answer here but your comments are interesting though

yes 777 it seems thats correct although other persons comments here have pointed to the cam corder not being allowed on any flight i find that difficult to beleive since one of the PAL pilots used his own onboard camera to film his own landing at silay, i think i will enquire here in my native UK for the truth!!

thanks for your comments in Tagalog (which my wife who is Ilongo was able to kindly translate for me) sorry if you are not happy with the use of camcorders on aeroplanes, i didnot use my cell phone in that PAL flight only my cam was used.i would suggest you contact all the other people here who have used either their cell phones or cams to record their flights,that will surely amount to many thousands of comments from you goodluck
