A staggering 1.2 million storks were shot out of the sky last year alone. However, when these beautiful creatures take flight over the moon, they are carrying our most precious resources. During their journey, storks fly over perilous regions, unprotected from man's hunting. Save the Storks is an organization that hopes to save these endangered species.

Mythical stork stories have been around since Adam and Eve. Generations have used the stork story for years as an explanation for the origins of babies. The stork legend's rich history makes storks the perfect symbol for this pro-life counseling ministry. God has given us a heart for expectant mothers who find themselves in crises situations. Our desire is to protect these women from harm, to love them and to be Jesus to them.

The Save the Storks team is comprised of passionately dedicated individuals, brought together by a common goal of serving women in precarious situations. As Christ-minded activists originating from across the United States, the Save the Storks team members are driven first and foremost by the desire to share Christ with girls who are considering abortion. Out of this desire, cutting-edge methods have been researched, refined, and developed to best reach out to scared, hurting women.

The combination of knowledge and compassion is key in most effectively meeting these women's needs. The Save the Storks team is an ideally balanced combination of head and heart service that does just that. Initially, it is the offer of a free sonogram that draws women to the Stork bus. However, at the end of the day, it is the love and attention of highly trained counselors who are walking with women towards a brighter future that makes a lasting impact. Women walk away from the Stork bus feeling loved, hopeful, and reassured they have the strength and resources to give a new child life.

Ultimately, choosing life is the heart beat of Save the Storks. Numbers and statistics are great, but the goal here is always to lead people to life.

OUR MISSION IS SIMPLE: We seek to persuade every abortion minded mother to choose life and to share with them the good news of Jesus. Please Join us at: www.SaveTheStorks.com

  • Thanks for the encouragement!

  • @Hovercat636 What kind of a selfish disgusting individual would ever be upset about that a woman kept her beautiful baby instead of destroying it? Every baby comes in hard times. Every kid is inconvenient. I recommend purifying your mind and your words so that people take you seriously.

  • thank god for a high birth rate that will one day kill us all from starvation.

  • @thenoobcannon Maybe if you voluntarily stopped eating the world would be better off.

  • I think all the elitist comments by those defending abortion show the true nature of "pro-choice". They are not pro-woman. They would rather poor women not have any children. These are the same people that would shut down CPCs so that poor women have no choice but to abort. They don't offer any prenatal care of financial help to these women. All they offer is to kill their children. I am poor. And I had an unplanned pregnancy. My son deserves to live his life.

  • I think also that its pretty telling that the hateful pro-aborts here can't make any logical defense of abortion. All they can do is curse and wish that we'd been murdered in the womb. That says it all right there. That is the face of "choice". That is the heart of people who support abortion. Illogical and hateful.

  • God bless you guys! Psalm 139:13-14 New International Version (NIV) 13 For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. 14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

  • God bless you, Joe Baker and all involved in your ministry. I will keep you in my prayers, that your work will continue with such great success. Persevere, and remember... "we are not called to be successful... we are called to be faithful." Blessed Teresa of Calcutta nailed it! But success in this battle is a good thing, too! Keep goin'!

  • Hallelujah!!! Praise God.

  • LMFAO THAT CHICK GOT TOLD THE SEX OF THE BABY WHEN SHE WAS ABOUT TO HAVE AN ABORTION? Geeze I'm sorry but decide on abortion early don't let it get to 5 months before you decide to take action!

  • It is not best to create policy based on extenuating circumstances. The option for the doctor to do a procedure that would perhaps be life-saving might be necessary. The problem is, we have elective abortion that is defended by the argument that in 1% of the cases the mother might have a real physical medical problem with carrying the child to term. In reality this is not life-saving and creates the added guilt of a mother killing her own child on top of the problems she already is facing.

  • @mikelaheymusic Yes, but what if there WAS a situation like that? There IS a chance. Not a large chance, but there IS a chance.

  • @TheLovelyLeecha

In reality, most abortions occur because the mother feels unloved by those around her and is therefore not able to give love to her pre-born child. We need to love and support these mothers materially and emotionally instead of telling them that a "medical" procedure will solve all their problems. This procedure, in reality, causes much grief, heart-ache, and possible medical complications.

  • @TheLovelyLeecha

There are few real medical reasons that the mother's life would be in danger. Ectopic pregnancy is the main one, and out of 6 million pregnancies in the US each year, 64,000 are ectopic. This is 1% of all pregnancies.

  • What if there was a situation where if the woman was to have this baby both she and the baby would die? Wouldn't it make sense for the woman to have an abortion to save at least one life?
