Is it the spring that wont fit or is it the aluminum body above the spring? I've seen where these work by removing the spring for other model lights. Either way I'm going to do this cause your demo of the lights was enough to convince me. Thanks for posting the video.

@ARBuilder1776 - the spring fits, its the body of the LED upgrade that wont fit far enough into the collar, whicch is why it has to be bored out some.

Just did this with a used 951 I got on the cheap and holy crap it is the best upgrade you can possibly do to the damn light.

For anyone who needs the bulb off amazon search for B0058E8HYE and it will pop up.

That is the bulb I think the OP used and the one I got and HOLY B@LLS it is bright!

Of course my local Home Cheapo didn't have a single 7/8ths bit so I ended up buying an overpriced Irwin max triple bit

@ARBuilder1776 it is the physical body of the bulb that will not fit in the collar you have to drill it out just a CH
