Cast Away: "Hold On (to what you got)"

"Hold On", performed by Ian Gomm. (I uploaded this for the song, because it is one of my favorites, and is not in the "Cast Away" soundtrack. As I was thinking of what pictures to put with this song, for some reason this film came to mind).
"Hold On" was a Top 40 hit on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1979, which reached #18 in the autumn of that year.

It reminds me of these types of songs... "Baby Come Back" by Player, "Right Down The Line" by Gerry Rafferty, "How Long Has This Been Going On", by Ace, "Music Into Gold" by Jon Stewart, "Sentimental Lady" by Bob Welch, "Magnet And Steel" by Walter Egan and MOST OF ALL, "Just Remember I Love You" by Firefall. They all have that typical sound of the 70's. I am moved by these songs in a big way, I loved the 70's. Thanks for identifying this song for me and letting me hear it again. - M Flinta
