  • Great sound - thanks (to me it sounds more like late 20s than early 30s - but no matter.)

  • u win again!!! Lovely pics and music... Deja-vu it's a reality with ur vids!!

  • @240252 OH YES! You Tube Is!!! If there is one thing in my life that i`m proud of, It`s my AWESOME Family. GOD has truly blessed me indeed. My Mom`s side of the family is equally as GREAT!!! My Grandparent`s (Mom`s Mom and Dad were The greatest, I named my 1931 plymouth "Hildy" after my grandma & my 1924 Oldsmobile John -D- after my Grandpa) I also collect and restore 1920s cars, 7 in all. I`ll be posting music and photos soon! Thank You So Much For Your Replys.

  • What a great family story! Thank you. Isn't You Tube just great, creating wonderful situations like it?

  • @240252 I was wondering who would be the first to make a connection! Believe it or not, My Grandpearents did not have any of his records! My Grandma collected Bob Wills , Milton Brown, and other country record from the 1930s. to 1980s I Like the 1930s Records witch I now own. My dad got the 40s up music. My Grandpa was not much of a music fan. he was more into sports. I for some reason or other LOVED 20s & 30s music even befor I first seen my first 78 record.

  • @240252 He`s My grandpa`s 3rd Cousin, Grandpa`s Family moved from London, England in the early 1900s to Oklahoma were he met my grandma, Altho, I heard I was related to a famous band leader, I never heard one of his records. I began collecting 78rpm records when I was 9 years old. I found my first Harry Roy record when I was 17 years old " Smoke Gets In Your Eyes" on the Odeon Label I`ve been PROUDLY HOOKED ever sence. I even have his funniest record "Pussy" on a English Oriole 78.

  • Well, does it mean, he and you - are a Family!? Gosh, what a great news and honor for my site. Harry Roy, ex aequo with Ambrose, has always been my No 1 in England of the 1930s!!!

  • Danke :-))
