+once again it's hard to believe I was surrounded by these singers back in the 60s playing their "monophonic" sound while we tried to imitate it singing along with the single speaker in a '59 Ford Fairlane-thanks again for this youtube posting. I loved them then, and continue to love and miss their wonderful one of a kind harmonies.

I met Mary quite a few years ago at a small little venue sometime in the late 80's. She was nuts!! I had a sit down dinner with the three of them as well as the owner of the resturuant I worked at a ole Charlie Daniel himself. She wasnt on drugs but could not hold a conversation. She was an absolute joy to be around, so happy. But the impression she left on me (at 15 yrs of age) was of her rocker. She is missed.

Soon be over. I have loved these children of peace since I was eight years old, a long time ago. My sister gave me this gift long before she became obsessed with money and control. These were simpler days, for me and i guess for most Americans. I am sad to see how far we have traveled from this quiet path. The anger and ignoraance I see every day has become a part of my trial. I weep for America, I cry for Mary tonite and I pray we find our soul.
