And I'm not the only one saying watch out for SDRs - check out today's comment from Ambrose Evans-Pritchard in the Telegraph (and also ran in the Financial Post in Canada)
The G20 moves the world a step closer to a global currency:

and what's been happening over at the UN?

Of course all the headlines were on the 'violence' of yesterday's protests - when in fact roughly 60 people were violent. What of the other 99% of the protestors?
Demonstrations turn violent:
http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/demonstrations-turn-violent-16...

Of course in that article, The Independent writer slips in a bit of truth... London is a Corporation - the Police are there to protect it's property!
'Stuart Fraser, of the City of London Corporation, said: "The police are managing a very difficult balancing act: they need to make sure the demonstrators can protest peacefully and safely, whilst protecting property and keeping the City open for business.'

The Guardian was far more balanced - Police show two faces to G20 protesters:
http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2009/apr/02/police-tactics-protests-g20-rbs

The telegraph wasn't quite as fair - G20 protests: demonstrator dies and 87 arrested following clashes with police:
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/financetopics/g20-summit/5091795/G20-prote...

I enjoyed the line "Just before 1pm, dozens of black hooded anarchists set their sights on a branch of the Royal Bank of Scotland on Threadneedle Street which was closed but had not been boarded up."
Dozens then - out of 6000. And if you watch the footage from the Guardian piece, you'll notice that half the 'anarchists' stood back and watched. Hmmm.

G20 protests: man who died during demonstrations named as Ian Tomlinson:

Finally - a sidenote - The best prepared award:

  • I used to think a one world government would be good for humanity, but once I became an adult, I realised that if that happened, most people would end up living in chains.

  • The only good side I can see to all of this is once they get the world banking system online, and centralize command, we will know where the head banksters are, then we can go get them.

  • (tears & headache )

  • The problem with the New World Order is that its anti-democratic, just like the European Union. The rights of people will be of secondary consideration, if any. The President of the EU is not voted for by people but by elites. WITH ONE NEW WORLD ORDER THERE WILL BE NO OPPOSITION AND IT WILL HAVE TO BE POLICED. IF YOU DON'T AGREE, TOUGH TITTIES. be interesting to know what part the PRIVATELY OWNED FEDERAL RESERVE SYSTEM will have in this World Order...

  • Question is are the people going to stand against this and if so how many people are willing to die for thier freedom? The president will call for martial law thats a given and when that happens watch out world cause many people in the USA will be front line against this tyranny. It will be a sad day in our nations history for it will be the death of our constitution and the common law rights we all hold so dear. I am sure they will sell this as a measure to recover from the coming collapse.

  • When it happens fuel price in the united states will go up around 120% OVERNIGHT . Food and drink will be unafordable to many, flight prices will skyrocket, pensions will disapear banks will go bust etc etc etc.

Many other bad things will happen like it did in the uk in the 1970's, but this US one will be much much worse.

  • ....by consent or conquest!
