Jerry was mad when Dean first walked out, probably because he was not the center of attention at that point Dean was. As the time went on though Jerry began to loosen up and started to interact with Dean, as far as Dean being drunk, he may have had a few but was not wasted. There is little doubt however that they were both uncomfortable at the start but their professionalism and talent took over and it became one of the classic TV appearences of all time. I love to see how this entertainment, being a little drunk on stage, smoking on stage and the charm. Dino was drunk, yet he took that stage and sang perfectly. Priceless
