  • millenniumfalsehood: It is not that heavy. the plastic is light. The whole leg setup weighs less than 10#,heaviest being the snowboard bindings. the head is also ~ 10# .

    I created the head using proportion scaling (i.e. math) to a Lego Ultimate Collector Series AT-ST model. Then cut a template with cardboard to see if it would look right. then extended the some of the sides a few inches to fold over and rivet. hardest part was getting the feet to reverse bend like a camel and not hyperextend.

    Thanks for the behind-the-scenes vid. Couple questions:

    How heavy is it?

    Did you use a template for the head or a lot of math?

    And I can't resist: have you resisted the temptation to chase the dog with it (or does he even care)?
