  • good song! I also like the guitar distortion :) .. and the video, for the images of Phnom Penh.. I mostly just listen to the music at work (I favorited this one), but these images are a reason to watch sometimes :)

  • I got the video clips from a longer video on youtube from Sidman. If you go to my page and click the Sisamouth archival video, the person who uploaded that video also has several videos of Cambodia from 1965.

  • are you in the States, Jeff?

  • bat loak

  • I am dancing and partying with friends, Jeff ,thanks once again, man !!! they all love this song although they have no clues what she sang. Let's rock and roll!!!

  • great! For the last month I have been very busy with work but when I finish the project I am working on I will make some more videos of classic Khmer rock and roll songs. :D

  • Fucking KR. Pol Pot, Duch and the rest of those assholes - I hope there's a special place in hell reserved just for them. Murdered this poor woman and God only knows how many others and for what? Pond scum.

  • Wow, the guitar solo in this is absolutely glorious beautiful mud like I've never heard. Don't get me started about the voice. Helluva price to pay for playing R'R, to be sure. R.I.P. Ros. This is just reaching many ears today.

  • Neanderthal KR, stealing this beautiful talented lady away from us....

  • I hope one day we are able to locate her and give her a proper burial and resolve many unanswered questions regarding her life after the 17th of April 1975.

I'm also saddened the current Cambodian government does not recognize nor cherish the wonderful legacy she and her fellow artists have left behind. They're still a household name if not the whole world thanks to the internet. Yet to this day yet there is no memorial or recognition. I hope this would all change soon.

  • @YuDumPhuck you should actualy know that its the opposite, all our neightboard learn and practice khmer angkorian old traditional Khmer Empire song and dance style too... in the past and even nowdays, example: female apsara dance (hand, flower manipulation) and many more. in 1960s all khmer & artist, before their death, adopt western and international style and compose a lot and many many song in this modern generation.

  • Wow, I didn't know cambodian people copy vietnamese music back in the old days and now still.

  • @martijnijzereef Good dance song with a good hook. But there was no distortion electric guitars yet, just a fuzz box and wahwah box.

  • One of the BEST songs by the golden voice of cambodia. Ros Sereysothea!

  • When I watch this footage of the old Phnom Pehn City the way they set it up look like the Washington DC a little bit. You got the Independent manument at one end and the walk thru mall straight down.

  • I got this music of this song ! is very nice too !

  • I got this music of this song !
