I know there is a vast difference in the depth and distinctness of these marks in different people. In some they are faint, dim, feeble, and hardly to be discerned. In others they are bold, sharp, clear, plain, and unmistakable, so that any one may read them. Some of these marks are more visible in some, and others are more visible in others. It seldom happens that all are equally manifest in one and the same soul. All this I am quite ready to allow.

But still after every allowance, here we find boldly painted six marks of being born of God. Here is an inspired Apostle writing one of the last general epistles to the Church of Christ, telling us that a man born of God, Does not commit sin, Believes that Jesus is the Christ, Does righteousness, Loves the brethren, Overcomes the world, and Keeps himself. I ask the reader to observe all this.

Now what shall we say to these things? What they can say who hold that regeneration is only an admission to outward church privileges, I am sure I do not know. For myself I say boldly, I can only come to one conclusion. That conclusion is, that only those persons are born again who have these six marks about them; and that all men and women who have not these marks, are not born again. And I firmly believe that this is the conclusion to which the Apostle wished us to come.

  • Hmmmmmmm, soo deep.

    It is good.

    Simple, yet soo profound.

    Nice one.

    Gods Holy Word will N E V E R disappear.

    Good one.

  • Biblically faithful marks of a truely converted Christian. Beautifully illustrated with natural landscape photography demonstrating the greatness of Christ's creating power

  • Are you born again?? The study of scripture declares Love of father not religious assaults to be born again is to proclaim God!!!! Bless you in Christ

I can understand how you may be frustrated and have not been able to provide anything on your side and have only requested things on my side. The video has not been refuted by you, and I understand that it appears impossible because in fact it is.

Secondly, show me empirical evidence that your great great great grandmother existed. If you say, "I exist therefore she gave ancestry to me" I will say the same. Creation exists therefore God exists. Show me the proof.

    Bye.

  • That being the case your Adam and Eve story is at best 2 people born like you and me and at worst(for you)a mythical story! In either case there's absolutely no empirical evidence supporting your story! You can go on all you want here but until you show some scientific evidence supporting your claims you're wasting your time! Knowing full well that you have NONE I'll not respond to anymore comments but please don't take it personally, I'm just tired of us getting no where! bye :-)

Back to the point, with what I mentioned about the bible's definition of sin, and the fact that you have transgressed atleast one of them atleast once in your lifetime; by the bible's definition, would you then agree and concede that you are a sinner (by those terms)?

I know you don't like to classify yourself thus, but that is not my question, I am only asking; according to the bible's definition, are you thereby a "sinner"?

  • With that said I'd like to say that your one (or more) sin in the past shows you your condition. It is proof that you are outside of God's holiness. Why does this seem so unfair. Again I must show you that you don't see it as anything big only because of so deep in depravity that we are all in and so holy and apart that God is. Which one is right? God is the creator therefore he has full authority and rights over his created being. watch?v=RwKFoZFNODQ

  • @reformedman , My guess is that since you mentioned Adam's sin, you believe that the earth was formed roughly 4-6k years ago. Unfortunately for the christian solid scientific evidence not only shows that the earth is 4.6 billion yrs old but civilizations(again there's evidence)have been around for well over 20k yrs and tribes for over 100,000 years!
