@rgaufman you can get archos 101g9 1.5Ghz 8Gb for £249.99 at play.com. Hope that helps.

You still can't buy a 1.5ghz version, or a 1.2ghz version for that matter!
Archos promised September, they are now promising December, but right now, a 1.0ghz version costs £270.00 ($430.00) for the 8GB.

Looks like crap to me. I saw one of those at the CGB show in Bucharest at it was literally smoking when you tried to watch YouTube video, and it smells like burnt rubbers
