The pipeline has the potential to employ more than 20,000 skilled crafts professionals of America's Building Trades and will produce more than 500,000 barrels of North American oil per day. In addition, it will decrease our dependence on foreign oil and increase our national security at the same time. We fully support the Keystone XL pipeline.

Ya know, with all the chemicals that are dumped on crops for ever out there and all the towns that are built on , not to mention the sewer systems and leech fields built upon it, or the highways, or the existing lines that already go through it, or the industries built on it, that people could come up with a better excuse, but the ones who oppose it from the "extreme" environmental standoint are not protesting for the right reasons at this point....just publicity.

Respond to this video... I dont think the risk of a leak in the Ogallala Aquifer that supplies the drinking water to two million Americas as reason enough to employ even 500,000 Americans. If you think that the Health and lives of your fellow Americans and fellow man are worth the production of one of the dirtiest energy sources we know than i suggest you make peace with whatever make you pray too

Respond to this video... The jobs needed to maintain the pipeline after being build are miniscule and the risk from transporting this oil (which is the dirtiest and most toxic oil know to man. Three times that of conventional oil mined) across the country and THROUGH the largest aquifer in the country are far to much to justify it. Further more, Trans Canada's Keystone pipeline one they build LAST year has leaked TWELVE major times already.

I was in attendance at the Washing DC hearing on Oct 7. I woman from Cambridge university was there also. She presented a study that the collage had done the in fact found out that this project will in all reality take more jobs away form Americans that supply. This project if anything will create far less that 20000 American jobs and they will be TEMPORARY.

I agree, to the last comment this man made. Get the real facts. Educate yourself on the issue before you pass judgement. I first learned of the Keystone XL pipeline and the Corporation Trans Canada a few weeks ago. And since then i have learned an astounding amount about why this pipeline should NOT be build. I was in attendance for the Washington DC hearing on the pipeline. Do not take my word or what information you heard on this with out speculation.
