In this video I load up part of an a board mix of a random blues jam. There aren't drums so I add them from the included Studio One loops and build a simple drum part. I snag a crash from another loop and use that to fill out the section. Finally, I set up track colors and repeat the complete song section a few times.

  • I'm using Studio One Artist. My imported project is also at 120 bpm. I can't get the drum tempo to change from 95 bpm to 120 bpm. Is this a limitation of Artist, or am I missing a step? Thanks for your help.

  • @MrCurlylong It's not a limitation of Artist. You might need to set the file tempo of the imported track in the inspector first before time stretching will work right. I suggest trying that then ask again in the PreSonus Studio One forum.

  • hey after you import the karaoke song into the studio and record your vocal. After that how can you combine those to track, the vocal and the karaoke into one. I just want to listen it in my car.. I can do that right???

  • @majestytd Yes you can do that. Just select Song | Mix down to audio file. I don't think you can create a CD with Artist but you can just take your mix into iTunes to make the CD.

  • would this work with a UX1? and does anyone know where i can download the sound samples for free?

  • @Demoman1980 Assuming your PC is adequate, S1 will work with most ASIO interfaces on PC or AU interfaces on Mac.

  • "I'm gonna mute this" lol.

But anyway... I'm really desperate, and I need help with Studio One Artist. I want to record my vocals, and my guitar, through an audiobox USB... I can hear the guitar, and I can speak, and whatever through my M7 condenser mic, but when I press record, nothing records. Nothing is registering, I don't understand how to use any of the controls.. I don't want to use the fake stuff though, I just want to record my music.... Help?

  • Good stuff, thanks!

  • @dixie5292 just put in a cd, the go to open files, or import files, then go to your song and click burn

  • @to3to3music you have to make sure you have some kind of interface plugged in

  • @lilacwriter you can make a cd if you drag it into itunes after you mix it down
