restamanboard6, there are many differences.
Madeira is slightly cooler, more green and has a lower-key nightlife.
There are only two, golden sand beaches on the Madeira mainland - both with imported sand.
Madeira is Portuguese and Tenerife is Spanish.
If you have visited Porta da la Cruz in North Tenerife, that is more like Madeira than the South of Tenerife.

I have a question to someone who was on Madeira and Tenerife, Canary Islands... what kind of differences are between this two islands? Which island is better..? I've been to Tenerife 2 times and want to go to Madeira in winter.

It is honestly the most amazing place in the world if you are stuck for holiday plans you will NOT regret coming to Madeira. And if you are looking to retire abroad Madeira Is IDEAL as it is much cheaper than in the UK and alot more laid back many Thanks :)And any qwestions just ask :)
