The inverter's input must be shorted. Did you measure the Isc (Short Circuit current) of the Panel? If Amps from panel are good then, problem is definitly the inverter. When shorting out the panel or measuring Isc (Max current), the panel's voltage will be Zero!

I think you may have a bad connection some where

Did you figure out the problem you were having? Curious to know what the solution is?
ALSO:
How do you calculate how many KW you produce? Also, can you use batteries with a grid tie system? Keep up the great work!

I dont sell my surplus power. I store it in batteries and use it at night, and when there's no sun or wind. I use three inverters,A 3kw does the house and 1kw and 150w runs the workshop and lights.

Did you ever figure out what the problem was? I''m having a similar issue as well.

you are right! there's not enought amp's out of the solar panel to feed the inverter! also are the solar panel's 48volt? or 12volt in series conection? if they are conected in series they might be broken very soon (panel can't be conected in series)! bye guys

i'd say your inverter is short circuited inside. thats great that you wont have an 'electric bill' when they finally re-pay you! Well Done, that install will pay for itself in no time!

how do you wire it so u can sell the power it back to them?
No checked that. the inverter is 22-50 volt.
