BBC NEWS current theme sucks like hell ! I really do miss this theme. the Music and graphics are super awesome made.

@SomeVeryRandomStuff Even though the Arabs and many Persians are of middle-eastern origins, they're not the same.

@Daan892 Yes, i think what @jonnyboy122 means, is that whilst this David Hewson music is very Arabic sounding, the David Lowe music currently used on BBC Arabic does not have a middle eastern feel (it is recycled from BBC World) - the BBC Persian music does have a very middle eastern feel to it and uses the same basic theme as BBC Alba and other World Service Television branches such as BBC Mundo and BBC Turkce. - Perhaps BBC Arabic's didnt want the same music as Persian?

Why couldn't they keep the Arabic feel to titles by remixing the Lowe theme with the same kind of "local" theme as BBC Alba's An La which uses a Gaelic fiddle?

wow.. thank you for sharing this.. i really want to hear this great news music theme in its full version. i don't know but i observe that the best recent TV news themes i hear (aside from the main BBC) is in the Middle East like this one (BBC Arabic), Al Arabiya, Al Jazeera, News 10 (Israel), and Abu Dhabi TV News.. ;)
