7.9.1 on this reel is the equivalent of 7.1.1 on any other reels,Ike really has no idea about this combo, the reel ways 5.4 ounce, no where near 1lb and the rob is less than 4 ounces depending on what rod it is, so this means whole combo is less then 9 ounce, no where near his 2lb mark...

Ike, ive never seen a baitcaster that weighted more than a lb. lol.. My current worm rig setup weights 11oz total w line.

Yes, y'all caught is slip. Congrats. It was the end of a very long, hard day at ICAST, so give him a little slack. He meant that both rod and reel weigh under 1 lb total.
