Hitting an officer and resisting arrest are against the law. His parents called in the officer to handle the situation, and as his legal guardians they permitted the officer to do his job. Steven took actions into his own hands and would not cooperate. Now, personally I hate cops, but in this situation I agree with the officer's actions. This officer went about the situation in the most passive way possible and had great patience - a job well done.
