I think what you are doing is amazing! You have actually changed my views of same sex adoption! I think that you educating yourself is an amazing thing. I am working toward an RN in the NICU. I wish all parents could be as loving and educated as you and your partner!

Thank you! That is very nice to hear. If my experience proved helpful to others then all of the time is well spent. I hope that other people regardless of orientation find the Vlog helpful or interesting. When we started the adoption process we certainly wondered what the process would be like!

ummmm Don't hate me, but with you being two guys (I have no problem with that) you had better have a woman that will be a strong presence in these girls lives. I, personally, think that all kids should have a role model of the same sex aswell. I hope everything is going well!

Haha, don't worry between our wonderful neighbors, grandmoms, birthmom and extended family there will be plenty of women role models in their lives. I have thought about this alot - I think that kids need a whole spectrum of different kinds of love. In male-female couples gender roles provide a basis for what men and women do. We do not live according to gender roles but I find that between the two of us we still provide all of the same kinds of love and care.
