Plenty of Americans care about politics, as much so as any ohter nation. The problem is that they all whole heartedly believe in a leftist/facist ideology and have thus rejected their free-market, individual freedom, captialist roots.

I totally agree with you on all your points. Corporate America has trapped the middle class by paying low wages and their counterparts in the Fed and government create inflation to exacerbate the problem. It's hard to deny that this all a carefully crafted plan to enslave us because it is so evident in every-day Americans' lives. Plus, all the commercials we see teach us that we are helpless without some external factor which is totally a psychological war on us, the "terrorists."

I think a big part of it is that Americans are working more and more hours (those of us with a job) and don't want to spend free time on such depressing subjects. There is also a strong feeling of helplessness. We feel powerless to change things. America rallied for change last year and instead of change, we got the same thing but more of it. Obama is largely Bush on steroids.

So we go back to our religion and guns, donuts and weed. We are a country of pot smokers and they won't legalize it.

I'm an American and I love donuts and pot, not so much the booze but they are cool. It's not that I hate Americans, it is what Americans do. We don't care about politics and these kinds of events anymore. We care more about how much weight Brittney Spears loses than about weak the dollar is getting. It's insane.

I am very impressed by level of professionalism of Press TV, Good job boys keep on the good work and invite more people from different platforms to your show. As for Max Keiser, he has some points in his arguments and he is definitely entertaining, I am skeptical about his prediction though. What if he has lots of money invested in Gold mining and Gold commerce? These days every body tries to profit from a stormy environment, Including Max.
