Typhoon Wayne of 1986 probably had the most unusual track of all tropical cyclones on record. It traversed the northern part of the South China Sea three times during its 19 day life-span, and resulted in the hoisting of tropical cyclone signals on three seperate occasions three times for the same typhoon. This video shows the track of Wayne, followed by an animation of GMS infrared images from August 13 through September 6, 1986. The tropical cyclone signals hoisted in Hong Kong are shown on the upper-left part of the corresponding images. The video ends with an animation of daily weather maps.

極之珍貴的紀錄!很好! 我可以在香港熱帶氣旋追擊站引入此片嗎?

You can add it to your playlist. The weather maps were scanned from my South China Morning Post collection.
