The Energy Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations holds a hearing, "Energy Speculation: Is Greater Regulation Necessary to Stop Price Manipulation? -- Part II." Subcommittee Chairman Bart Stupak questions the witnesses.
Well I say gas prices are out of control. The government has controlled that market for too long. We need energy independance NOW! We need investment in renewable energy sources, i.e. solar and wind. And yes, we need to drill more without causing harm to the environment. And by all means, the time has come the government knew enough is enough!
well said... can't wait to see the Congress to pass these bills and put a stop on the excessive speculation.
