One of Norway's best-known traditional music bands -- KVARTS -- plays for evening dancing at the 2007 Landskappliek (Norwegian national folk music and dance competition) in Geilo, Hallingdal, Norway.
The tune, called "Stumpen", is by one of Norway's foremost and respected fiddlers, Sven Nyhus of Røros. a reinlendar (known in Sweden and other places as a "schottis") and the group really swings it up a bit.

I especially loved the bluesy accordionist! Never heard any quite like it. Great fun -- great post. ~Terry in South Florida
