  • What type of weight plates are they at the end of this clip that allow you to drop the bar and have it bounce like that ?? Thanks.

  • @antsrealm they are Eleiko bumper plates and bar.

  • Static stretching should not be done before weightlifting, only after.

  • @gspieler33 @CrudeCoach The studies that found static stretching to be detrimental to performance were not representative of how it is used in a typical program. I've only read a few, but they all seem to place the static stretching AFTER the dynamic portion of the warm-up. That is not how we do it. That is not how the top athletes in the world do it. Why then do a study with those protocols? They tell us nothing about the effectiveness of static stretching before explosive movements.
