The best soundtrack to any and all movies to date barr none! I don't care how much money is spent on a films sound track this cant be matched. Literally gives me goose bumps. The soundtrack to Conan The Barbarian is legendary! Basil Poledouris (RIP) was a true master at sending emotion through symphony. Anvil Of Crom and Riders Of Doom are epic. A super powerful sounding symphony and chorus. Just my opinion of course.

I too am fond of this score. I like the dynamics of the rider's of doom / secret of steel theme. This piece and the funeral pyre grabs my heart. Excellent expression of emotions.

Besides I stil lbelieve that there is no better fantasy movie than Conan the barbarian. It's atmosphere is perfect: free and wild but just.

@DaneTheConquerer thanks for this upload bro. i have watched conan more then i have watched any other movie. i have probably watched it more then 500 times since i firsted watched it over 25 years ago. even my wife has seen it well over 100 times and she dont even like it...lol. i didnt realise until a few years back that it was really the soundtrack that made me watch it so much and not really the movie itself. anyway i wanted to know if you know the name of the song when his mum gets killed?

The emotion brought forth by sweet symphonic melodies enhanced the movie and the cinematography. i can honestly say this was one of Arnold's best performances. a era when the acting was done right. the humor was not drenched in the story line. a time when we actually shed a tear from the great acting and the themes behind each scene. a epic masterpiece never to be duplicated.

@DaneTheConquerer nah i wasnt testing you (im am a bit of a movie nerd but im not that bad...lol.) i just wanted to know the name of the music thats plays in my favourite movie scene of all time. it left a lasting impression on my 6 year old mind when i first watched it, i too was hypnotized! conan the barbarian is without a doubt my personal favourite movie of all time!
