This was the very best squad I've been with, the action and teamwork was pretty intense. This video is an example of how to play as a squad and team.
Some tips for noobs:
1) Let a squad member with a machine gun pin down an enemy with his weapon while you attempt to close the distance or flank the enemy and eliminate him.
2) If you're a medic, don't rush in to revive a downed teammate. Make sure all threats nearby are eliminated before reviving.
3) If you're playing as a recon class, remember to throw those motion sensors and also spot enemies constantly, that will help your teammates out a lot. Also, when you snipe someone, change locations.
4) If you're flying a chopper, give your gunner a chance to do most of the kills, your gunner isnt in that gunner seat for nothing. Circle strafing makes it impossible for your gunner to hit anything
5) It is always better to stick with your squad most of the time. This is a team based game and winning depends on how well you work together.
6) Never ever leave a vehicle open for the enemy to use. Also, if you're driving/piloting a vehicle/aircraft, stick with it until its destroyed. Getting out too early maximizes the risk of an enemy taking it.
7) Communicate on the microphones to keep all your squad members aware of what's happening.
8) Smoke grenades provide great concealment
9) Mortar strikes can be used as a distraction and also force enemies to expose themselves from behind cover
10) When using a ground vehicle with a machine gun, try not to bring it in the middle of the action where it will get destroyed instantly, park it far away from where the action is and mow down enemies from a distance.
11) When you're in a tank and engaging an enemy tank, don't drive in up close where his engineer buddies can destroy you, shoot from a distance. This means you have to compensate for distance and be really good at estimating the trajectory of the projectile. Using the Zoom on Spec 3 helps out.
12) Assault - Engage enemies from medium to long range with your assault rifle, provide ammo packs to your team
13) Engineer - Engage enemies from short range with your submachine gun, repair vehicles when needed...UAVs can be repaired, so if you see one hovering in front of you and you're an engineer, don't just stare at it
14) Medic - Engage enemies from medium to long range with your machine gun, provide med packs, revive downed teammates if possible
15) Recon - "Recon" means to survey the area, so utilize your scope and binoculars and spot enemies
16) When flying a UAV...don't just hover it in one spot where it can be shot down, move constantly, also...spot enemies from the sky, that's the main purpose of a UAV
17) Utilize cover. Move from cover to cover. Don't stand out in the open. Anything with a hard surface can be used as cover, such as a destroyed burning vehicle, a downed aircraft, a tree etc. Anything that doesn't have a hard surface can be utilized as concealment, such as a bush, smoke, etc.
18) If you're going to snipe enemies from a window, don't stand up in the middle right next to it where you can silhouette yourself to the enemy. Move a little back and move a little bit to the left or right of the window, then start engaging. That way you won't be seen so easily.
19) When entering a building, always check the nearest corners as soon as you enter.
20) When you're on the AA guns, don't aim directly at the aircraft, lead the aim a little bit to the direction the aircraft is flying. Same thing with the mounted machine guns. Always lead your aim when engaging a moving target.
14) Medic - Engage enemies from medium to long range with your machine gun, provide ammo packs, revive downed teammates if possible
Don't you mean life/medic packs?
