@audiovisualwelding Who took the heat and got his bank accounts closed (as well as those of Wikileaks) for stirring shit up? And who provided the public with all that classified info? Like him or not, he kind of deserves to make at least a speech.

People are taking a massive risk in allowing Assange to be a representive or voice of an entire movement. Why do it anyway? On the one hand people seem to want a movement without leaders, on the other people are repeating Assange's words, suggesting he should get the nobel peace prize and massaging the ego of 1 man. Maybe it would be better to ignore Assange and champion 'ordinary' people?
