@5lkk the direction depends on which side you are on but the twist is definitly to self track a belt its been used since roman times.

And that mortar looks watery as all hell. But i guess it does the work. Just add some more dry mortar and it should be good.

While they use a tumbling drive shaft that connect to a square drive stub drive stub welded at the center off the axle. Jacking that wheel off the ground was/is used to cut, thread pipe larger than 2.5" out on location in the oilfield.

@joetraynor1 But that will turn the mixer in the wrong direction. The need to change direction is most often reason 1 will see a twist in a belt.
