As these young people are volunteers, I thought there might be a degree of pride or, at least, co-operation amongst their ranks to put in some effort at a public event. I was a Met. Police Cadet in the late 1960s, and I'm deeply saddened and disappointed to see so many of these young people shambling along as if they were embarrassed to be there. My old drill sergeant would weep.
The cadets were out of step or too close, some list confidence and looked at their feet. Good though.

@s10m0t10n Sad fact is cadets have moved on, not what it used to be.
There does however still seem to be discipline and drill lacking in individual borough cadet units.
At least I can safley say others have exellent discipline's and drill attitudes.
