@SimpleJars Yep, when Walt first drew Mickey he was on a train with his wife. At first, he suggested that the mouse he'd drawn be named Mortimer. However, his wife Lillian complained that Mortimer was a horrible name for a mouse, so he changed it to Mickey which Lillian liked.
Also, did you know that when Mortimer made his first apperance in the comics, he appeared as Minnie's uncle who was a rich cattlebrand?

I have a book about Walt Disney that said Mortimer was the first Mickey Mouse when Walt was an adult.
