My all time favourite Simon and Garfunkel track. Taken from my vinyl copy of the album. I hope you enjoy the video that I've made to go with the song. This is for Nick........

  • Many thanks for your kind words, and encouragement. This video was made by me, for some-one very special, my youngest son.

  • It's ridiculous how much I had to search to hear the whole version of this song. I love it.

  • Bookends makes me cry...97% of the times I listen to it

  • Thanks for putting it together. It touches my heart. I just dread the day where I will lose my best friend...my wife. But the Lord will be merciful. I believe that.

  • They truly wrote too many beautiful songs, this definately is their best.

  • incredible song, and a great video to go with it. thanks for the upload.

  • I can't listen this without crying

  • They were a phenomenal pair. Each of their songs has a completely different style and tone from the last, and their lyrics and arrangements are just stunning. Simon and Garfunkel evoked every emotion possible with their music, they really put everything they could in each song. This is just beautiful.

  • This music is truly timeless. I'm fifteen and Bookends makes me cry.
