completely disagree that its' "sorrowful". I think it's one of the most warm and heartfelt pieces of music ever created. It's like a fairytale. It's full of mysterious and wonderful images. There is absolutely no sorrow in it, jist beauty and fascination.

I agree with 99% of your comments but sorrow can be heartfelt and mysterious too. And perhaps we hear in music what our hearts are feeling?

There are area that Francescatti captures the sound the human voice...his violin sounds like a fine soprano at moments.
