bob dusekof solebury, pa used to own that car in the 70's.... the man is a creep and it makes me ill that someone like him could have something so beautiful.... his wife's a douche too....

i hate to spoil it for you guys but the most expensive ferrari exer sold is the 1963 250-GTO... im not saying its better... i just say that so we can rule that out...
i tell you what i believe though... this car has the most incredible engine "song" ever...

@Nicksandalis but that was a private sell, and yes a 1963 250 GTO RECENTLY sold more... but this is still the most expensive *sports* car sold publically. I know a Bugatti Type 57 Atlantique just sold for an incredible amount but I don't count that as a *true* sports car (Maybe sporty GT type?)
