Shipwrecked 2008 Battle Of The Islands Episode 1 Part 2

British Reality show, Group of strangers are placed on different islands and must persuade weekly new arrivals to join their island in an attempt to outnumber their rivals and win a share of the £100,000 prize. There are two competing tribes, named the Sharks and Tigers who start out with five castaways on each island. There is a weekly beach party in which the previous weeks guests have to choose an island to live on and new arrivals are introduced. Episode 1, Part 2 of 8.

makes me wonder how that katie girl made it on the island...obviously this is like a survivor show and "big" people tend to "require" more food than others...so people her size are not suitable for things like this (no racism intended)

So true. I would have happily took her place but too bad i am not in the UK. :( i would definately audition for this show. Just watching the 2006 series & this 1 makes me want to go there right now!! :D

The only truly sad part about the Katie situation, imo, is that Life is about coping skills. And if her coping skills are THAT fragile... the island is not the issue. I'm sad that she has let herself be this fragile. Cos you can't live at that level for any extent to any healthy or happy end. I hope she rises to other challenges as they happen.

I don't really understand wny Shipwrecked would cast someone that does not like the beach. There are so many that would love the chance.
