Power company lineman electrocuted

Officials at Kootenai Electric in Hayden confirmed that one of their employees was electrocuted while working south of Coeur d'Alene Tuesday. KXLY4's Annie Bishop reports.

@angels77100 . This is not a common practice to let poles touch live lines. I take it you are not in this line of work or know nothing about it. To call this young man an idiot truly shows the kind of person you are. I don't know all the details of this job but it is fair to say there were some safety rules broken by the whole crew. If it weren't for people like this young man and myself a lineman of 13 years you wouldn't be able to turn on your computer to type these stupid comments.

He sounded a bit of an idiot. Seriously how could he allowed a live pole to touch those lines if he'd been concentrating on his work? He was probably wolf whistling some school-girl and not paying attention. There's probably a lot more to this than they've told us, he was probably suffering a hang over from the night before, or texting on his phone and sending pictures of his John Thomas to some school-girl.
