When, oh when, will the BBC wake up and realise that enforcing this outdated tax upon the British TV viewer is a terrible way to go about raising their funds?
Most of us would voluntarily donate more than £400 a year for this top notch service. Especially if they got rid of all those unnecessarily expensive peak time entertainment shows and brought back the test card to take their place.

Personally, I think the fee is far too low!
£400 then is £1,818 now if the colour licence was £32 then!

Yes, that was the Points of View theme tune of the time. It's a library music track called 'Northern Soul' by Miki Antony and Barry Blue.
