Amtrak Texas Eagle train 21, arriving Joliet Union Station, May 22, 2010

This one's for you, Kyle. My friend Joe and I were originally planning to leave on the 307, which wouldn't have gotten to Joliet until 7:50 that evening, and we were getting exhausted and slightly bored. Traffic really died down after the Northbound Texas Eagle left at 12:45. In fact, the next train after the Northbound was the Southbound TE at 2:40, except for a Metra that arrived at 1:51 and departed at 2:24. Either way, we decided to try to get on an earlier train. We were shooting for just the 305, which we would have been content with. However, the ticket agent could get us on the TE instead, so we decided to take that. It was so awesome!
