they say they do something, but their just to take youre money.

since this video I now have headers and bullets in place of the cats. Gave it alot deeper and more fined sound.

"cats" are the catalytic converters. This is a device to reduce the exhaust emissions. If you want more infos you can have a look in wikipedia
