In August 2007, we had a sandmound septic system installed on our .25 acre lot to replace a~50yr old cesspool. The webcam was mounted in a 2nd story window.
Building codes in my township forced the sand mound because the water table is less than 20 inches below ground. The codes require 48 inches between the pipes and the water table.
Also, I only own 1/4 acre. My neighbor declined to sell me some of his multi-acre backyard.
why didn't you just get a regular conventional septic tank system instead of the overly expensive Sand mound system? It looks as if your property could easily handle that
