Mr. Shapiro: (If you read these) I understand your intentions, but I think they were wrong. I've studied sociology, and I've NEVER read about this type of method in any text book.
I was 11 when this came out, and it probably gave some of my school teachers ideas, talk rudely and disrespectfully to both boys and girls alike.
I subscribe to Erik H. Erikson's school of thought. I think his teaching would have better help those kids than time with hard core prisoners.

I love seeing those convicts go off on those kids, it's total comedy to me.... I saw this when it came out when I was a crazy fucked up kid but I still remained crazy and fucked up, but the entertainment value is still priceless after all these years...
