Metro Toronto And York Region Police Harassment of Myself And Children Part1

My name is Nadia. My husband David and I have made and uploaded this video cronicling acts of repression and harassment we have experienced at the hands of our local police.

In the past 2 weeks I have been stopped by both Metro Toronto and York region police on a total 3 occasions while driving my children to and from school. They have also been to my parents house.

I am a private citizen, I have done nothing wrong. I have broken no laws, nor am I wanted by the police. I have asked the police to stop committing these acts of harrasment against myself and my children, but they continue.

This past Friday, after the police accosted me on the school property as I was picking my children up, I made a report of harassment to york region police and was told that although a statement was taken, nothing could be done because the officer stopping me refused to give me his badge number when I asked.

I awake this morning truly afraid of what will happen next when I leave my home to once again take my children to school.

Man I got pulled over on Feb 4 I don't drive but it was about to be a really bad snow storm in maryland so I went and got food we needed the cart to carry the food the police pulls the cart over to cars on me and my son and write me a citation for a cart. Told me make sure I show up for court. We took the cart back and the manger at giants said she has never heard of that people use the carts all the time. WHAT A WASTE OD TAX PAYERS MONEY!!!!!

Heres the best advise i can give you..

it will only cost you 20$ to fix this problem!

go to the ministry and ask to change your plates. this will cost you 20$ and now the information when your plate gets run the information wont come up

Thank you for the advise. I just don't understand how changing my plates would prevent them from sitting at my children's school, waiting for me to come out and then walking over to me and questioning me.

Nadia and David, I am sorry you had to endure this outrageous abuse. I know that nothing but a successfully filed complaint can help cure the aches.... but let me say this....

The Police.... are nothing but legalized street thugs who harass and beat people. I notice that you are both black. Hmm... constant harassment from the police without reason, huh? They are also racist assholes. They are overworked, and underpaid assholes... just keep on fighting! Do not lose hope.

its to the point where im on house arrest but allowed to go to school and church but at any point a police officer can pull me over en route and accuse me of anything so far its only been tickets to justify looking for drugs, I have a bunch of tickets im poor and im a student...good luck future...
