Gossip Girl 5X14 Preview - What Will Happen With Dan & Blair!?

While many suspected Blair would not go through with her wedding to Prince Louis, Gossip Girl fans were left very surprised when she in fact did say I do. I'm Katie Krause in Hollywood at the Clevver News Studios with a sneak peek at episode 5X14 "The Backup Dan" -- and what to expect next week on the Upper East Side.

First of all, if we've learned anything from last night's episode -- it's to trust your instincts. While I never thought Prince Louis was capable of harming Blair, I will say that was a twist for the books -- that just got even crazier when Blair ran to Dan instead of Chuck! And, what about Serena's love profession to Dan?!

Next -- the one and only Georgina Sparks has been revealed as the infamous mastermind behind Gossip Girl.
So, with so many major cliffhangers, what can we expect next? Let's chat about it, shall we?

With this major new Georgina storyline -- I can tell you Michelle Trachtenberg will be sticking around NYC, and lucky us, we'll be able to see how she gets her tips and see the inner workings of her whole gossip-y process.

Now, I can assure all you Chair lovers that the love affair between Chuck and Blair is definitely NOT over. According to Entertainment Weekly, Josh Safran, one of the show's producers said QUOTE "Chuck and Blair are never over... There's always been a thorn in the side of Chuck somewhere. Maybe it will be Dan, maybe it will be someone else."

With this, we can't take Blair's wedding escape with Dan Humphrey lightly, the creators added QUOTE "We are definitely going with Dan and Blair's story." Dair lovers, now would be your time to scream & shout.

And in regards to Blair's decision to go through with the wedding (against her family and friend's advice might I add) I'm hearing she is going to see how her choice has impacted those around her... and she'll have to face some pretty harsh consequences. Let's just say Prince Louis' villainous side won't be leaving us anytime soon.

As for more major scoop on next week's episode? The creators said, QUOTE "It's a direct pick-up, and is the same night.. The reactions are very much immediate. You're not going to feel like, 'Oh, it's a week later. What's happened?' You're going to be following with them as they learn. You're going to see what they do about it, and how it impacts them. Definitely the story of that next episode is Chuck and Serena together, dealing with Dan and Blair together. Obviously, it's going to wrangle Serena when she discovers what's happening between Blair and Dan. But I think these characters are growing up...
