  • I haven't been able to find the AK-47 ad, but will continue to look. For the final shot, Charlie tossed the gun into the Neches River. To get to the filming site we had to take canoes down the river a bit, with the gun in the bottom of one of the boats. I was glad we didn't meet anyone along the river!

  • Charlie Wilson....back when there were Democrats who were not Commiecrats. What happened?

  • R.I.P. Mr. Wilson, you will be missed.

The nation lost a great humanitiarian.

  • @Bonecrkr

You are an idiot. This is retired Congressman Charlie Wilson of Texas, not the current one from Ohio. Typical GOP moron.

  • @Bonecrkr What planet do you spend most of your time on? Wilson retired from Congress 13 YEARS ago. You people are as sick as you are ill-informed.

  • Look like the republicans will be picking up another house seat.

First Murtha, now Wilson.....and the weeks not done yet.

Hey.....maybe we'll get lucky and a meteor will fall out of the sky and squish Pelosi.

  • RIP

  • how about the 60th minutes "Charlie did it"?

  • Wow, thank you so much for posting these. Rick Casey, a columnist in my local newspaper, The Houston Chronicle, suggested that there should be Oscar-like awards for political campaign ads -- and they should be called "Charlies"! After watching these ads, I understand what he means!

  • Fascinating to see this guy and his image makers in action. See today's Washington Post profile of him--it's a hoot! Where's the AK-47 Ad?
