- Placing Marines on patrol near the edges of your base can help prevent Overlords from moseying on in and scouting your tech.

- You want to be already creating your first Banshee when you push out with your Marines and Hellions, that way you can immediately follow up one harass with another.

- If you feel you have done sufficient enough damage to set your opponent back, it would be wise to expand.

NOTE: Build orders should never stay static and are subject to change based on what your opponent is doing! Remember this is an RTS: use your brain, be adaptable, profit.

That build dropped me from 4 diamond to 24 diamond. I learned the timings to counter, and that build doesn't give me trouble anymore. The Zerg didn't scout at all that game. He basically tried to blind counter reapers or hellions, and he got raped. The terran could have done a marine tank timing push and crushed him as well.

For you Zergs who struggle with this,

14 gas

14 pool

Zergling Speed and pull workers off gas.

20-22 Expand

Speed complete > Start lair

Lair half way > Suicide ovie
