Become a fan of Heli Network!

Footage taken an instructional flight where we working working on our sloped landings. Biggest thing here is to keep that tail clear of the slope and any obstacle and to take your time when performing this maneuver.

Dynamic rollover is very susceptible if done too quickly.

  • Now I'm a fixed-wing guy myself, but I have to say that this video is just beautiful. Sure, pickups and set-downs and slopes might not be the most exciting thing to a lot of people, but I can appreciate the skill they all take in a rotary-wing aircraft.

More than that, however, I just LOVE your approach to teaching your student in this video. It's so important to have a good relationship between instructor and student; I'm fortunate to have one with mine, and it seems yours has one with his!
