Karl Jenkins - Paladio

Artists: Escala

* Escala (previously known as Scala, then eScala) are an electronic string quartet, from London, England who rose to fame when they performed on and reached the final on the second series of Britain's Got Talent on ITV1 in May 2008. The four members of Escala are professional musicians who have had experience of performing in orchestras and on tour. However, with Britain's Got Talent being a competition for "undiscovered talent", their experience was said to run counter to the spirit of the show, which Escala refuted, with Izzy Johnston saying, "Its supposed to be open to everyone, professional and amateur alike."

  • Great video for the music.

  • WOW..................

  • Thank you, for uploading this.

  • As simple or repetitive as this song may be, it takes nothing away from the fact that it's beautiful anymore than a beautiful drawing would be less beautiful because it was drawn with crayon. It's beautiful, regardless of anything else it is. You need't, like it of course, but to say it is awful because it doesn't suit your taste is horribly narrow-minded . . .

  • @leomulder

    I gather you don't like Ravel's Bolero then ? :)

  • @Ikamatsav Sometimes, when it doesn't sound so boring and insufficient. When you listen to other musical possibilities, you become sophisticated to realize what is easy and vulgar, apelative and cliché. And that's what this piece is.

  • @leomulder Sometimes the beauty is in the way the repetition is applied. Easily comparable to real life and the slight differences in the way day to day life unravels, even though the days are very similar.

  • this really blows me away...great music and clips

  • Excellent. Bravissimo *****
