Julie was pretty magical to me as a six year old in the 80's. Now a days six year olds are playing with laptops. I loved the little book that came with her that had the removeable stickers. One was a moon, as I recall.

i got this doll as a hand me down bald and i had to yell at her for her to hear. is she still sold?

@applesock89 You have that all wrong. The commercial says you can have real conversations with her, but in reality you cannot
-
@danielswensen That's exactly what I was thinking!
-
@applesocks89 UGH Can't
-
@applesocks89 Or like it is showing that you can but you really can rather
-
@electronic4evr But you couldn't really carry on a real conversation with her as it states in the commercial.

Harry Potter picks up a temp job with Geppetto.

I still have my Julie, and wasn't able to part with her. She still works and have her original clothing.

oh yeah, and i forgot to mention one other thing i found really cool about this doll. when she would talk, her lips and face would move with the sound of the words. it was so life like.

I'm 27 now and I vividly remember getting this doll. She was awsome! She was so far ahead of her time; you still can't find a doll that does what she does. I have a GREAT home video of everyone in my family talking to her the Christmas that I got her. Priceless watching my grandpa, dad and uncle mesmerized by the doll when I picked her up and she says, "Are we going somewhere?" My college roommate was TERRIFIED of her when I brought her up one weekend for laughs.
